Queue Resources

Resources on the cluster have first been divided into lenght of queues; short, medium, long, max. These have a maximum wall time of 10 min, 100 min, 5000 min, and 1 month respectively. Resources are further broken down based on group name, bioserv (bioservices), ecbc, bio_res (bio_research), ittc, ittc_oth (ittc_other), other, and class. To know what queue to run in, you will only need to know the length of your job and what group you belong to, then use the matrix below to get the name of your queue. You can also use your cluster login to help generate the top half of your pbs submit script below.
Each queue also has a priority assigned to them, with highest priority given to the upper left corner of the matrix, and lower priority to the lower right. These priorities are used by the queue system to determine which jobs will run.

NOTE : If you write your own pbs scripts please make not that all short and max queues are dual machines only and require ppn=2, where medium and long queues are quad machines and require ppn=4.
