It is always a good idea to browse through the FAQs if you have a question or need some information about running jobs on the cluster.

Logging into system

Logging into the cluster can only be done through ssh. If you are using Windows, putty is a ssh client tool. Other ssh clients can be used and can be found by googling for "ssh client windows".

After you have received your account infromation, you log into the system with hostname firefox.bioinfo.ittc.ku.edu or explorer.bioinfo.ittc.ku.edu. At first login you will be asked to create keys.

Compilers

Information about all software, including documentation, can be found under software link.
